Dr. Kimiko M. Pears is the founder and owner of Pediatric and Adult Therapy Services, a private practice dedicated to helping children, adults, and professionals achieve their communication goals. Services. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist with nearly 20 years of experience serving children, adults, and families across a variety of clinical and educational settings.

She earned a Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology (SLPD) and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Science in Education of the Deaf from Texas Woman’s University, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of South Alabama.

Dr. Pears holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

She also works with professionals seeking to strengthen workplace communication, executive presence, and communication confidence through Professional Communication Services. Today, Dr. Pears leads two areas of practice:

• Clinical Speech-Language Pathology Services, providing evidence-based evaluation and treatment for children and adults with communication disorders.

• Professional Communication and Corporate Speech Services, providing individualized coaching and training to help professionals communicate with greater clarity, confidence, and credibility in English-speaking workplaces.
